For some reason I do manage to finish mysteries sometimes. Everything else is helter-skelter. Now that you mention it, it does look like dandelions to me too!
VaNella, you sure wade in with a vengeance and forge ahead to the finish.  Love your top and it said to me, "dandelion".  Wish I could start and finish something like you do  instead of dilly-dallying around forever to get something done, or not, as the case may be.

Confession time...  I will not be finishing this mystery  :(
Maybe the fact that I had zero purples in my stash should have been my first sign  ;)
Or that I had the thought that Bonnie's color chips looked alot like an Easter basket.

I love Bonnie's mysteries, and I love this design, but I am not feeling the love when I start laying out my units!  So (even though I hate to give up on it) I am going to pack away the units I have finished and the clue 7 which I have cut and maybe bring them out for swaps or to make something entirely different.

There - I said it- now it is time to move on! :)

No point in continuing if you don't enjoy it. Maybe another day you will feel like rearranging in an Easter quilt!

At least there are plenty of units to work with, right?  I could do pinwheels with the hst, a 16 patch block with the 4 patches, diamonds with the tri-recs pieces, the possibilities are endless!

Here's what I have done so far, complete with supervisor. Might take a while to get it finished tho as I've got a couple of busy weeks coming up.

I love it mamahippychicky. I really like the supervisor. I miss having a house cat but one Jack Russell in the house is all I can handle right now.

Yesterday I got all the remade quarter square triangles made. Not all are trimmed yet. Sewed 4 blocks together making a total of 9 made now. Also got several sashing strips made. It's coming together. I figured out how to chain stitch sections which makes it come together much quicker.

A number of years ago Admin did a mystery here on the Haven.  The end result was an interlocking heart design.  Well, as much fun as it was, I'm just not a big fan of hearts, so I never finished mine.  I put the unassembled pieces away for a while.  Later I played around with different layouts and assembled one small quilt.  I'm using more for the upcoming Feb/March small quilt swap.  Someday  you'll find a new life for your pieces that will be sure to make you smile.  :D

Dogood, you have rolled right on to the finish line with that beautiful quilt.  I wish I could sit down and just do that, without procrastinating and putting off and finding reasons why I haven't gotten anything done.

Thanks everyone. Let me try to explain how I pieced this. After laying out the first block and sewing piece to piece in rows, I thought there has to be a better way. So using the first block as a guide, I sewed four patches as chain piecing. If you look the top left and bottom right are pieced the same. The same with bottom left and top right. Then I sewed all the center pieces as they are the same except for adding the center four patch or square. By chain sewing the rest of the blocks went together quickly. The same with the borders. I hope this isn't confusing and helps others to get theirs pieced.

Denise, I'm not experienced enough to quilt it on my home machine. I don't have a long arm. I have a lady that does a good job of quilting on her long arm so I'm sure it will go to her. I remember you and Bev quilting all night to finish those quilts for the children's home. Some day maybe I'll have room for a sit down long arm.
