Christmas presents for the grandkids.
« on: January 10, 2017, 08:43:12 PM »
I suppose it is high time I posted pictures of the twin sized all flannel quilts I made for DGD and DGS.  I didn't like them at first because I wanted the sashing to stand out more.  Then I decided to try something new.  I used yarn and couched it down with a zig zag stitch, instead of my more taditional "stitch in the ditch"  when I quilted it.  Made the sashing pop more and got em quilted all in one step.

I rotated and saved that second photo before posting it, but now it is still upside down, oh well, quilters can read upside down, to right?

I really like this Denise.
A great look and getting quilted...I'd say that's
a win-win.
Yup, quilters can read upside down  ;) .

It is a blessing, to be a blessing!
Quilters are warm ppl.

They're both really cute and look very cozy.  Nice job!
