Check out the dog hair fuzzies in the tufted titmouse beak. He just couldn't get any more in there, but believe me he tried.
Micah 6:8 What does the Lord require of thee? Do justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly with your God.
May the majority of the tears you cry be tears of laughter and the rest tears of love.

That is so cute.  I just lost the pics I downloaded today and I had one of the male cardinal giving suet treats to his lady-love.  He does that all the time, even though she is eating on the same suet cake.

How cute! I never thought to do this, as I throw out a Springer pup on a daily basis around here!

Years ago, my neighbor had sheep.  While our walking with my dogs in the winter time, I came across a hummingbird nest, carefully lined in wool. The weaving was so intricate, I doubt if I could replicate it.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In the days before Shaft the cat, the bluebirds always nested in the dumbest ceramic bird house ever  on the front porch and you would see horse hairs waving out of the nest hole for weeks.  They tried again this year, but after spotting Himself, they decided to go elsewhere.  That is OK 'cause the male always thought that he had a rival and would batter himself almost to death on the floor to ceiling window.

I never thought of putting out dog hair for the birds. I will do that now. What a darling picture! And I love the story about the cardinals!

What an excellent idea!. The nest will be nice and warm for babies.  Yes he will be tired since he filled it to the top. Does the male have brighter colors than the female?
