Well, today a trip to Reno for my follow up visit.  Thankfully, the weather wasn't snowing.  Anyway, they took the stitches out, I have a tank of a boot, but still NO WEIGHT BEARING for 4 more weeks.  She gave me a "prescription" for PT, 3 times a week, which will start Wednesday.  I'm sure looking forward to being able to at least put weight on this leg.  By the way, I have a plate and 9 screws in my right foot now.  I knew I had the pins but not how many, but apparently, I did a "good" job of breaking it.  LOL

Oooch!!!  Makes my cut finger quite minuscule compared to the damage you've done.  I would imagine the plate and screws in you foot will be a real joy in future trips should you need to go through security scans at airports, etc.

Hope your PT goes well and the rest of your recovery speedy.  Nothing like being laid up when you have so many things you want & need to do.

Oh dear lordy!  It does sound like we quilters are a bunch of accident prone folks!  I'll join the crowd...my cat bit my right hand across my knuckles.  It swelled up, got angry so off to the Dr.'s for anti-B's.  Thank goodness I can still drive the L/A, but it has been a week...still swollen between the little and ring finger.  I'm going to a different doc tomorrow for my annual...wonder what gyno's know about infected cat bites?  LOL!

Get better everyone!
Mine nailed me a couple weeks ago and tore the vein on the top of my right hand.  For some reason, this winter, she had clumps of matted fur and did not appreciate my efforts to get them out.  For mine, I needed antibiotics and a tetanus shot.  What's going on?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Quite a few of us haven't had a good start to a new year, that's for sure.  Goddess Moonpi, I hope the antibiotics are working.  I hope that no one else has any problems.  Everyone BE CAREFUL, YOU HEAR, NO MORE ACCIDENTS(hopefully)
